We started out the new year with a bubbly surprise. A water main broke at the front of our yard, releasing a river down the hill and impeding any serious hygiene or food production from taking place in our home. The picture below was taken after the water dude turned the valve at the top of the street to stem the tide.
And this is what the front of our yard looks like after the city "fixed" it. We're grateful to have water, but seriously guys?
And this is beauty incarnate. My wife does not drink alcohol.
The many moods of Lucy Laree.

Just like her (middle) name sake, I see. Moodiness = awesomness.
Okay, so I made that comment and then went back to watch the video.
Wow, Becky.
That must have been very exciting (the front-yard flood). Whenever the city guys drive around the neighborhood to flush out the hydrants in the spring, we follow them around to watch. I think it makes them nervous, but we're always looking for cheap entertainment.
Mrs. Burnett would be so proud Becky.
Okay, so I'm just really glad that someone like Becky exists -- so that Jon could find someone as strange as himself!! Just kidding -- sort of.
And, I would really like a print of the Lucy collage -- I want to hang it near my desk in my office so I can look at it all day! She's priceless -- Broadway, here she comes!
Becky-- we for sure need to have a play date this week. Seriously any day will work for me as long as its before 1:30-- both my girls go down at that time. My cell is 713-206-8353, or parents house 252-2599...
Oh-- and wow, I'm impressed by you video--LOL.
